The Downey Association of Realtors® (DAOR) received its Charter for the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) in November of 1946. DAOR today has over 1900 Realtor®, MLS Only, and Affiliate members in the Downey and near surrounding areas. The DAOR is a non profit trade association, providing real estate licensees with the services needed to conduct their day-to-day business. Not all real estate licensees are Realtors®. The trademark Realtor® identifies those real estate licensees who are members of all three trade associations – the National, their State, and their Local Association of Realtors® - they abide to a strict Code of Ethics. In our web site, you have the ability to search for a Realtor®, the search database does not include those members who are MLS Only, (non-Realtor®).
